sorry about the lack of posting for sometime peeps, but get this, a small bird has made a NEST in our backyard that,s right a real nest I am so psyched! but, we have to be very careful we don't want to scare her. I hope to have photos of the actual bird,photos of eggs , and perhaps baby birds posted A.S.A.P.

We found mushrooms in our backyard. Here's a joke about mushrooms:
A mushroom met a girl at a party. She asked, "Are you a plant or an animal?"

I actually filmed a grasshopper. WOW!

(a note from Mom--I don't agree with the green=male, brown=female thing. She says she read it in a science book, but we haven't been able to find it.)

Here's a still picture, too. He's the thick part on the grass blade on the lower left. Good camouflage, huh?
