Grasshopper!

I actually filmed a grasshopper. WOW!



(a note from Mom--I don't agree with the green=male, brown=female thing. She says she read it in a science book, but we haven't been able to find it.)

Here's a still picture, too. He's the thick part on the grass blade on the lower left. Good camouflage, huh?

We found some interesting bugs today. They were black & red and they looked like alligators. Here's a link to pics of it and the rest of its life cycle.
